1997년 로마 우르바노 대학교에 편입하여, 1998년 학사 학위를, 2000년 교회법 석사 학위를 취득하였다. 2000년 사제로 서품된 후, 2001년 로마 라테라노 대학에 입학하여, 2008년 ‘교회 소송법에서 사람들의 신분에 관한 소송 사건들’이라는 제목의 논문으로 박사 학위를 취득하였다. 현재 광주대교구 법원에서 재판관으로, 광주가톨릭대학교에서 부교수로 활동 중이다.
In 1997, he transferred to the Pontifical Urban University in Rome, where he obtained the Bachelor of Sacred Theology in 1998 and the Licentiate in Canon Law in 2000. Ordained a priest in 2000, he entered the Pontifical Lateran University in Rome in 2001, where he obtained the Doctorate in Canon Law with the title of his doctoral dissertation “Cases concerning the status of person in Canonical Procedural Law (Cause sullo stato delle persone in Diritto Processuale Canonico)” in 2008. He currently serves as a judge at the Ecclesiastical Tribunal of the Archdiocese of Gwangju and as a associate professor at the Gwangju Catholic University.

2002년 미리내천주성삼성직수도회에 입회하여 2011년 종신서원을 발하고 2013년 사제로 서품되었다. 2009년 로마 우르바니아나 대학교에 입학하여 2013년 교회법 석사학위(J.C.L.)를, 2019년 박사학위(J.C.D.)를 취득하였다. 박사학위 논문 제목은 '교회법전 제693조와 제701조에 따라 수도회로부터 분리된 성직자의 입적'(L'incardinazione del chierico separato dall'Istituto religioso a norma dei cann. 693 e 701)이다. 2025년 현재 수원교구 법원 재판관과 가톨릭대학교 성심교정 교회법대학원 강사로 활동 중이다.
He entered the Society of the Most Holy Trinity of Mirinae in 2002, professed perpetual vows in 2011 and was ordained a priest in 2013. In 2009, he entered the Pontifical Urbaniana University in Rome, where he obtained the Licentiate in Canon Law (J.C.L.) in 2013 and the Doctorate in Canon Law (J.C.D.) in 2019. The title of his doctoral dissertation is "The Incardination of the Cleric separated from the Religious Institute according to Canons 693 and 701 of the Code of Canon Law" (L'incardinazione del chierico separato dall'Istituto religioso a norma dei cann. 693 e 701). He currently serves as a judge at the Ecclesiastical Tribunal of the Diocese of Suwon and as a lecturer at the Institute of Canon Law at the Catholic University of Korea.
